Poll for Mac Users: Do We Over Do it?
Wed Jul 26, 2006
I use a Mac at home and I use a PC at work. Neither of them crashes but my I'm running Win 2000 on my work PC which is much more stable than XP. My co-workers with XP systems complain about crashing, slowness and other problems with their PC's.

AA Murphy - according to the NY Times article itself the program was secret. Actually they used the word 'secret' 8 times in the article. Only when the backlash against the Times began the Times actually started saying that the story was not a secret anymore.
World Cup: It's Italy after Zidane headbutts France out of the game
Sun Jul 9, 2006
Agreed - very unprofessional. It really does not matter what was said - what he did was wrong, he got punished for it and the whole team was punished by losing the game. He caused unnecessary distraction at a time when everyone was supposed to fight for one thing - a winning goal.
Why I (now) Love the World Cup
Wed Jul 5, 2006
I definitely agree with the author. It's not very prominent on TV but it's slowly changing. During the previous Cups it was difficult to find live broadcasts - I had to resort to a Spanish station that did it in NY. Now at least all the games are live and I can TIVO them for an evening viewing.
World Cup Soccer : Italy pushes out Germany
Tue Jul 4, 2006
Agreed. Excellent game. Italy outsmarted Germany in the OT. Germany's defense really gave out at the end and the goalie had no chance of saving the first goal. The Italian coach made substitutions that payed off and that made the difference. He did not want to take a chance with PK's.

Good article. I am also a relatively new Mac user. It's been a year since I got my first Mac and right now I only use PC's at work. I agree with the iLife comment. I've made a dozen or so DVD's on my Mac and I had struggled with the same task on my PC.
Is Steve Jobs Sabotaging DRM with iPod + iTunes?
Tue Mar 21, 2006
I for one would like Apple to open up it's DRM. I am both an iPod and a Mac user but I do not want to spend $150 on an mp3 player for my kids. They want to listen to a few songs anyway and are too young to be caught up in an iPod hype.
